Chelsea are set to break their transfer record to bring in Romelu Lukaku, a player they allowed to leave the club some years ago.

Lukaku left Chelsea for Everton some years back and have been improving on his standards, playing for Manchester United and now Inter Milan.

The Belgium international was in a great form last season, scoring 24 goals and laying 11 assists for his teammates in the Italian top flight.

Lukaku’s good form continued at the European Championship, performing well for Belgium before they were eliminated.

Former Chelsea FC star LeBoeuf have now shared his thoughts on the deal, stating that Lukaku will end up being a good addition to the Blues.

Speaking to ESPN FC, LeBoeuf stated that Chelsea achieved a fantastic season with a Champions League title but offensively, they have many problems.

He noted that Lukaku will score more goals and create a more solid situation for the forwards.

LeBoeuf who couldn’t hide his excitement on the move stated that people who know Lukaku know that he’s a big fan of Chelsea.

It was his dream to sign for Chelsea, he did but it didn’t work and he left. He came back and it didn’t work again so he had to leave.

LeBoeuf added that he’s pleased about lukaku’s return to Chelsea and he wish him to be as good as he was when he played for Inter.
