Potter addresses West Ham’s interest in Man Utd star
Former Chelsea manager Graham Potter has taken over fully at West Ham and recent spoke about their January transfer window plans.
Potter in a recent statement revealed the Hammers are in the market for a new forward.
His comments comes amid reports linking West Ham with moves for Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
It is no longer news that Rashford is available for sale this January transfer window, with the Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim not having plans for him in his current squad
Aside from West Ham, top clubs like AC Milan and Juventus are said to be in the race to sign the forward on loan.
West Ham are keen on a new striker owing to their current injury woes, while Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen are both injured, Niclas Fullkrug sustained a hamstring injury during Friday’s FA Cup clash with Aston Villa.
Potter has disclosed that the London club are planning moves for forward options, and a loan move for Rashford could be on the table despite the Red Devils’ desire to make him sign for a club outside the Premier League.
We will have to wait and see how Rashford’s transfer will play out this January.
