Everton are set to announced David Moyes as their new manager this weekend, according to The Mirror.

Moyes, who was once in charge at the dugout at Manchester United and West Ham, is said to have reached an agreement on a sensational return to Goodison Park.

It was reported that discussion between the Toffees’ new owners, The Friedkin Group, and Moyes has reached a conclusion.

Moyes is expected to pen a two-and-a-half year contract with the Toffees, that will run out in 2027.

Once the announcement is made, the new manager will be available to lead Everton as they host Aston Villa in the Premier League next Wednesday.

Recall that 61-year-old left the Toffees in June 2013 to replace Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford only to be sacked in less than a year.

During his 11 years as manager at Goodison Park, Moyes oversaw more than 500 matches and helped Everton leave relegation to qualifying for the Champions League in 2005.
