Real Madrid, Arsenal, Man City in race for this midfielder

Ahead of the January transfer window, there have been speculations about players some clubs have shown interest in.

One of the players making the news is Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.

The recent report revealed that Spanish giants Real Madrid have joined the competitive race to ensure Zuimendi join them ahead of a number of Premier League clubs that have also shown interest in the midfielder.

As of now, Zubimendi is one of the most highly sought-after midfielders in European football.

The Spanish midfielder, who didn’t make his top-flight debut until turning 20, has impressed domestically and on the continent in recent years.

Reports revealed Zubimendi was closed to joining Liverpool last summer only to remain with La Real.

The Spain international stated that he felt he would develop more as a player in La Liga, but is said to be open to an idea of moving to other leagues in 2025.

While Liverpool said to still be in the race for Zubimendi, rival clubs Arsenal and Manchester City are also interested in the central midfielder.

However, Real Madrid joining the race has made competitive for the Premier League clubs to sign Zuimendi.
