Arsenal eying moves for this striker ahead of January transfer window
Arsenal are already on the lookout for new players they could sign in the January transfer window.
A recent report has linked the North London club to Dani Olmo, who they are keeping a tab on.
The Spanish attacker is expected become a free agent in January as his current registration with Barcelona was granted on a six-month basis following Andreas Christensen’s long-term injury.
However, with Christensen now fit and back in action, the Catalans are unable to register Olmo for the second half of the season due to La Liga’s strict financial regulations.
This predicament has left Barca at the risk of losing Olmo without receiving a transfer fee.
Olmo is said to be dissatisfied with the situation and might consider a new challenge outside the La Liga.
A transfer to the Premier League is among the possibilities on the table, with Arsenal showing interest in signing him.
However, a report via Goal.com disclosed that Arsenal will face stiff competition for Olmo’s signature, from Manchester City who have also shown desire to add the versatile attacker to their squad.
French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are also said to be interested in Olmo and could leverage their financial power to lure him to the Ligue 1.
