Chelsea star Cole Palmer has gained attended in and beyond the English Premier League in the summer transfer window.

Following his impressive performance that saw the Blues win the FIFA club world cup, several clubs including Manchester City have reportedly shown interest in signing the England international.

Palmer, who joined Chelsea from Manchester City in 2023 penned a contract extension at last summer, keeping him at the West London club until 2033.

The length of the deal means any club interested in signing him must be willing to break the bank.

A report by Fichajes claimed Man City manager Pep Guardiola has always “admired his talent” and is keen to bring Palmer back to Etihad at “all costs.”

Man City are said to be willing to offer £147m to sign Palmer, which would be over £100m in profit for Premier League rivals Chelsea.

Should the deal go through, it would be a record breaking transfer in the English Premier League.
