Manchester City are likely to bid goodbye to at least six of their players in the ongoing summer transfer window.

This comes as the recent report disclosed that City manager, Pep Guardiola, is ready to give approval for the exit of at least six players ahead of the new campaign.

The six players include established first-team stars like John Stones, Ilkay Gundogan and former Chelsea star Matteo Kovacic.

It is no news that Manchester City have been busy during the transfer windows this year, after falling behind Liverpool and Arsenal last season.

While new players are expected to arrive at Manchester, a number of players are also expected leave, with Guardiola desiring a smaller squad.

According to the Athletic, 31-year-old Stones is now available for transfer.

Gundogan, who only returned to The Etihad from Barcelona a year ago, could also leave.
