Chelsea are pressing ahead with their summer rebuild, with reports indicating the club is closing in on two major signings, including one highly sought-after Arsenal target.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Blues are making “non-stop” progress and could soon complete a £120 million double swoop.

Having already secured the signatures of Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens, and Joao Pedro to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s attacking options, Chelsea are far from finished. With potential departures looming for Joao Felix, Christopher Nkunku, and Nicolas Jackson, the club is actively seeking another forward to bolster their squad.

Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers remains a key target, but his reported £80 million valuation has complicated negotiations. Chelsea have also been linked with Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho and are reportedly considering a move for Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze—another player firmly on Arsenal’s radar.

However, the most significant breakthrough appears to be in Chelsea’s pursuit of RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons. Romano reported late last week that both Chelsea and Arsenal were monitoring Simons’ situation closely. Since then, talks have accelerated, and Simons is said to have given the green light to a move to Stamford Bridge, eager to leave Leipzig after their failure to qualify for the Champions League.

If finalized, these signings would signal Chelsea’s continued commitment to reshaping their squad with young, dynamic talent as Maresca prepares for his debut season at the helm.
