Premier League rivals Arsenal and Chelsea are supposedly both in a battle to sign AC Milan attacker midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu.

The Turkey international is out of contract at San Siro in the summer and it is looking progressively improbable that he will agree new terms.

As per Sky Sport Italia, AC Milan offered a €4m-a-year deal to Hakan Calhanoglu, but he is after a €5m deal.

That has made different clubs to step forward with offers, with a similar report showing that Arsenal and Chelsea are among those to have opened talks with the 27-year-old’s entourage.

It is asserted that the English pair can offer the Turkey international enormous wages, but they can’t rival the sums AC Milan’s rivals Juventus are set to pay, making them the top choices to sign the talented midfielder.

Hakan Calhanoglu has eight 2 goals and 8 assists in 24 Serie A appearances this season.
