Amorim’s speaks about Garnacho amid link to Chelsea

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has explained reason Alejandro Garnacho was dropped from his squad amid reports linking him to Chelsea.
Recall that Garnacho was dropped from the Red Devils squad during the finals in the Europa League against Tottenham Hotspurs.
Under Amorim, Garnacho started 25 times, including in the six knockout ties before the Europa League final.
He was, however, dropped from the first team after former Chelsea star Mason Mount scored twice in the semi-final second leg win against Athletic Bilbao.
With the 21-year-old now planning to leave Man United after five years at the club, Amorim said it’s clear that the player wants a different thing with a different leadership.
“Sometimes you adapt to one guy, you have the connection. Other times, you want a new challenge. So, we try to make everything okay to all the parts. To the club, to the coach and to the players. So, it’s a natural thing in football,” Amorim said.
Meanwhile, Garnacho has been linked with a transfer to Chelsea, with the Red Devils considering a swap deal for the Blues striker Nicolas Jackson.
No official bid has, however, been made by Chelsea or Man Utd so far.
