Borussia Dortmund could purportedly be compelled to reduce their asking cost for the young striker Erling Braut Haaland.

The Bundesliga outfit at present value the Norway international, who has scored a surprising 33 goals in 32 appearances so far this season, at around £150m.

Nonetheless, Borussia Dortmund’s may need to acknowledge a compromise fee this summer or risk losing the 20-year-old for £65m one year from now when his release clause can be enacted.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola had recently said that it would be “incomprehensible” to sign Haaland this summer in light of his valuation, anyway since addressing the Daily Mirror, the Spaniard has not precluded the club spending over £100m on a player sooner rather than later.

“So far the club has chosen not to spend near £100m for one player. Perhaps later on it will occur if they choose it’s important to improve the team for the following five, ten years, for some reasons.”

Manchester City are one of a few top clubs in Europe including rivals Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona, who are completely accepted to be keen on signing Erling Haaland this summer.
