Klopp shares positive news about Liverpool’s injury crisis ahead of tie against West Brom
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has shared a positive news concerning the Reds injury problem ahead of their tie against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
The Reds have continued this season in a similar way they ended last season as they’ve been able to secure top spot on Christmas day.
Their last match was an emphatic 7 nil win over Crystal Palace and they will be eager to make another huge statement when they meet a West Brom side that’s now managed by Sam Allardyce.
Liverpool vice-captain James Milner and attacking midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri are set to make a return back to the squad on Sunday having completed the training.
Milner sustained his injury during Liverpool 1-1 draw at Brighton as it was identified as a hamstring complaint while Shaqiri has been out since the draw at Manchester City earlier in November.
Klopp while addressing the media ahead of their match noted that Shaqiri trained really good and Milner had the full training session with the rest of his teammates.
He added that with the squad still having two more days to train, he will be making a good decision when it comes to selecting who will be facing West Brom.
However, midfielder Thiago Alcantara might be missing the match as the Spaniard is still being eased back to fitness following the knee injury sustained during the match against Everton.
