Chelsea edge Arsenal in race for ‘next Messi’

The January transfer window is on and football clubs are already focus on new players to buy or sell to improve their squad.

It has been a busy moment in the Premier League, with clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal showing interest in a similar prayers.

Reports have linked the Blues and the Gunners with moves to sign Greek wonderkid Konstantinos Karetsas.

However, there new claims that the West London side could edge out Arsenal in the race for the 18-year-old midfielder, who has sparked interest from all over Europe following his breakout displays for Greece and Belgian club Genk.

This comes as a report via talkSPORT disclosed that the arrival of Liam Rosenior at Stamford Bridge as the Blues new manager may now give Chelsea a key edge in the battle for a talented player already compared to Argentine football star Lionel Messi.

As of now there no reports of if Chelsea or Arsenal have submitted an official bid for the talented midfielder, who could become a star in the English domestic league if signed.

We will have to wait to see how this would play out for Chelsea and Arsenal.
