Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has tipped the club’s newest signing Eberechi Eze to shine at Emirates Stadium.

Recall that Eze signed a four-year contract in a deal that could be worth up to £68 million ($92 million) after Arsenal hijacked him from their north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, who were still negotiating with Crystal Palace.

Eze arrived at Arsenal late for their game against Leeds United on Saturday but was unveiled after the Gunners 5-0 win.

However, with Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard now on the sidelines, Eze could be handed his Gunners debut against Premier League champions Liverpool at Anfield next Sunday.

Speaking about Eze, Arteta said the England international has the capacity to create these magic moments.

“He can do it from different positions, different situations. He’s got that flair and he’s got that charisma about him that is very contagious,” he said.

Eze’s ability to play in different positions is also a plus for the Gunners as he can play as an attacking midfielder, right or left.
