Chelsea interim manager reacts to goalless draw vs Liverpool

Chelsea interim manager, Bruno Saltor in a post-match statement spoke about the player’s performance during training.

According to Saltor, the players score “a lot of goals” during training, but it is a different ball entirely during competitive matches.

This comes after Saltor led the Blues to a 0-0 draw with Liverpool on Tuesday night.

The outcome of the match saw Chelsea fail to get back into the top half of the Premier League, as they remain at the 11th spot on the EPL table with 39 points.

“I know they missed chances but what they could affect the most was the attitude and the effort, which was there.

“They score a lot of goals in training. But coming into a game is completely different. It’s something we have been working on but we need to keep going,” Saltor said.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will this weekend face the Wolves and will hope to win all three points.
