Uruguay are set to face some stiff test in their quest to make it to Qatar in 2022 but Cavani won’t be available.

The former Paris Saint-Germain forward had to stay back in England following Premier League club decision not to release South American players due to COVID-19 protocols of the British government.

Cavani while speaking with Uruguayan soccer association’s online TV channel has now shared his frustrations.

Speaking to the TV Channel, Cavanni started that players are exposed to decisions that are made in the organizations of some tournaments and leagues and any of the two decisions traveling or not would be bad for them.

He noted that players don’t get rich playing for their national team’s but they have a commitment with themselves and a moral commitment to defend their country.

According to Cavani, players get rich by wearing the shirt of their national teams.
