Former Manchester United star in race to full fitness ahead of crush Europa League clash
Former Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic might be fit enough to face his the red devils when they clash with AC Milan in the second leg of their Europa League match.
AC Milan put in a strong performance on Thursday to snatch a draw at Old Trafford despite missing some first team players for the decisive clash.
Theo Hernandez, Ante Rebic, Hakan Calhanoglu, Jens Petter Hauge and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all missed the match at old Trafford but only Ibrahimovic did not make the bench in their Seria A match against Napoli on Sunday.
Two started the match and two came off the bench during the loss to Napoli and things might be different when United visit San Siro.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic trained on Monday for the first time since his injury, which was suffered days after the Europa League last 16 draw was made.
According to multiple reports, Ibrahimovic did half the session doing individual training drills and the other half with the rest of the first team, a move that showed he might play against his former employee.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic was a fan favourite during his short spell at Old Trafford and he will pushing for a place in AC Milan team if he’s passed fit by the medics.
