Arsenal have been on an impressive run this season under manager Mikel Arteta and are favourite to win the Premier League title.

The Gunners have seven matches left to play and sit nine points clear of Manchester City.

Following their defeat to Man City in the Carabao Cup final, several Arsenal players have withdrawn from the international break with injuries and knocks.

Reacting to the Gunners’ form, former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, has accused Arteta of copying the tactics Sir Alex Ferguson used during his time at Old Trafford.

Speaking via his YouTube channel, Ferdinand claimed that Arteta has threatened them.

“It’s definitely the manager saying listen this is the first win we could get in terms of the Premier League, we have to be ready, we need your energy, this is a friendly for your national team,” Ferdinand said.

“I’ve heard this speech from Sir Alex Ferguson so I understand it. The guys have just gone. This is our priority, we need to win the league,” he added.
