German club Bayern Munich in a statement via the club’s director Hasan Salihamidzic has reacted to the reports linking them with transfers for Cristiano Ronaldo.

There are rumours that Bayern want to capitalise on Ronaldo’s frustration at Old Trafford to lure him.

Ronaldo has been played in three of the top leagues in Europe, which include the EPL, La Liga and Seria A.

Last season, the Portugal star scored 24 goals in 38 appearances.

Despite signing a new manager, Ronaldo seems to be frustrated at the club and may already be looking for a way out this summer.

Ronaldo has reacted to the way Man City and Liverpool have been able to sign new players this summer while Man Utd are yet to complete a deal.

With the look of things, the Portugal star doesn’t want to spend another trophyless season at Old Trafford and has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich.

But the club chief Salihamidzic in a recent statement has denied the rumours as he revealed the German side will not be pursuing Ronaldo this summer.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is a top player with an outstanding career. However, stories on a potential deal with Bayern are not true,” he told Sky Germany.

“These rumours have no truth.”
