Former Arsenal star Ian Wright in a recent statement has revealed Chelsea must win their matches against Burnley and Fulham to save their manager Mauricio Pochettino’s job.

Pochettino was signed to Stamford Bridge in the summer with the focus of turning the Blues’ fortunes around after they finished at 12th-placed in the Premier League last season.

It has, however, been a tough spell for Pochettino so far since taking over the managerial role.

Chelsea have won only one of their opening six Premier League games this season.

They recently lost 1-0 against Aston Villa at home over the weekend.

The Blues will face Fulham on October 2 and Burnley on October 7 and Wright believes it is important they win against the two teams, adding that he is starting to worry for Pochettino.

“You look at those [next 10 fixtures], a derby against Fulham and then Burnley, those are must-win games,” Wright said on The Kelly and Wrighty Show.

“You would worry for them [if they lose the next two]. You look at Chelsea and you think something is going to have to give soon. I think it is the next two games. If they don’t do it, you have to start worrying for Pochettino.”
