Chelsea could be making a new transfer in the January transfer window as a recent report has linked the Blues with moves to sign Sebastian Walukiewicz as the successor to Thiago Silva.

Recall that Chelsea signed Silva on free transfer in the summer window, he has however gone ahead to become one of their key players at the defence and also formed a perfect combination with Kurt Zouma to strengthen the Blues defence.

Chelsea are however preparing ahead of the departure of the 35-year-old from their squad and may have found the player to takeover from him when he leaves.
