Sterling reveals three things Pochettino will bring to Chelsea

Chelsea forward and England intentional Raheem Sterling has shared his take on the club’s new manager Mauricio Pochettino as he named three things the Argentine will bring to the club.

This comes after Pochettino was officially confirmed as Chelsea’s new manager on Monday as he took over from interim manager Frank Lampard.

The former Tottenham Hotspur penned a two-year contract with an option for a one-year extension at Stamford Bridge.

However, Sterling believes Pochettino will bring leadership, bring in a personality that everyone is going to respect at the West London side.

He added that this will challenge Chelsea players both physically and mentally.

“From his time before at Tottenham, I heard a conversation about him and he is the exact person that we need,” Sterling told Arab News.

“He will bring leadership, he will challenge players physically and mentally and I think he is going to come here and he is going to have the personality that everyone is going to respect. That’s what we need, someone in charge,” he said.
