Once again, Real Madrid striker and Belgium international Eden Hazard has once again been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge with barely a few days to the start of the January transfer window.

However, this time around, it is believed that Real Madrid are considering a swap deal before they can allow Hazard to return to Stamford Bridge.

The Los Blancos are ready to offer Hazard back to Chelsea as part of a deal for Reece James, El Nacional reports.

There are reports that Real Madrid are ready to sign a new right-back defender to provide cover for Dani Carvajal next year.

And the club believes Chelsea’s James is the perfect fit for the job.

The reports claimed that Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has told the club’s President, Florentino Perez to make a move for the English defender.

To get things done, the Los Blancos are hoping to solve two of their problems at a go by signing James and signing out Hazard to Chelsea as part of what would be a swap deal.

It is no longer news that Hazard has struggled to repeat the impressive form he had when he was at Chelsea at Real Madrid.

It is uncertain that Chelsea would be willing to let a key player like James leave Stamford Bridge in exchange for Hazard.
