Pressure mounts on Potter after defeat to Aston Villa
Chelsea suffered their first defeat after the international break to Aston Villa in a 2-0 defeat which has now seen pressure mount on manager, Graham Potter.
The Blues lost all three points at Stamford Bridge to Villa, thanks to goals from Ollie Watkins and John McGinn.
Chelsea have now dropped to the 11th spot on the Premier League table.
A statement by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano revealed Chelsea are considering Julian Nagelsmann who was sacked at Bayern Munich last week as their next manager.
“Pressure again on Graham Potter after the board always supported & backed him — now Chelsea drops out of PL top half.
“Understand Julian Nagelsmann has always been appreciated by Chelsea as a future top coach, one to watch,” Romano tweeted.
Should the defeat persists, Potter may have to bid goodbye to Chelsea soon than expected, having only taken over as Chelsea’s manager towards the end of last year.
