Premier League icon insists Chelsea will be scary if they land top Abramovich transfer

Former Manchester City defender Micah Richards has insisted that Chelsea could be scary next season, should they land Erling Braut Haaland from Borussia Dortmund

Chelsea has joined the long list of top clubs in Europe eager to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund due to his impressive record in the club.

Haaland has been banging in goals from all cylinders as he’s currently ranked among the top players across Europe with some fans labelling him as a successor to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Roman Abrahimovic has reportedly identified him as a top target ahead of the summer transfer window with Thomas Tuchel already reviving the team.

Richards who enjoyed a good spell with Manchester City has now revealed how he is with the progress Chelsea have made since the appointment of Thomas Tuchel in January before sharing his thoughts on Haaland.

Speaking to BBC after the blues FA cup victory over Sheffield United, Richards stated that he thinks Chelsea have got absolutely everything.

According to Richards, Chelsea have sorted their defensive problems and the only thing to add that little bit of icing to the cake would be a striker.

He noted that the blues have Timo Werner in there, they’ve put Kai Havertz in there but it seems like they’ve not cracked that offensive aspect of the game.

Though he does not want to speculate, Richards added that Haaland is added to the team, they’ll be scary next season.
