Former Liverpool striker, Stan Collymore, has pointed out Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga as the player benefiting from coach Graham Potter’s arrival at Stamford Bridge.

Since Potter took over, Arrizabalaga has gotten regular game time at the goalpost for all three games for Chelsea against RB Salzburg, Crystal Palace and AC Milan.

Recall that Kepa was Chelsa’s second-choice goalkeeper behind Edouard Mendy last season under former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel.

“Kepa is a player who is benefiting from Potter’s arrival, He’s started in Chelsea’s last three matches and he is playing well. This is another great decision from Potter,” Collymore told CaughtOffside.

“He’s come in and said ‘look lads, I am here now, so everyone has a clean slate – impress me.”

Kepa 28, has been a Chelsea player since 2018 after moving to the west London club for £71 million from Spanish Seria A side Athletic Bilbao.
