Former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Tim Sherwood, in a recent statement has said that he is pleased with Chelsea striker Armando Broja.

Sherwood made this known during his reaction to Broja’s goals against Wolves on Saturday in the English Premier League.

According to Sherwood, Broja’s goal for Chelsea against the Wolves was unstoppable.

Speaking in his Sky Sports role on Gillette Soccer Saturday, Sherwood said: “VAR was checking for offside, but he was clearly onside as he was behind [Max] Kilman.

“Kovacic slides in behind, and he [Broja] gets around Kilman’s goal side, drops his shoulder, gets it on his right foot, and bends it past José Sá.

“Unstoppable finish. I’m pleased for the boy. It’s probably the most important goal he has scored. He scored a lot on loan at Southampton but to score for your boyhood club and to now build your career here, they need a centre forward, and why can’t they give this boy an opportunity?”
