Chelsea, as expected, had an outstanding performance last night in the Premier League against Leeds United.

The Blues won the match with 3 goals to one and it has moved them to the top of the Premier League table with one goal difference ahead of Tottenham Hotspurs who could move to the top when they face Arsenal tonight.

However, before Tottenham likely retake the top spot, Chelsea and their fans have expressed their excitement to be seated at the top of the table with many fans now hoping they win the EPL title this season.

This is the first time in more than two years the Blues will make it to the top of the table.

Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard while reacting to his side win over Leeds United said there is nothing wrong with their fans dreaming of a Premier League title.

Lampard is, however, cautious when it comes to talking up their title chances as he stressed that the season is still long.

“There is nothing wrong with our fans thinking we can win the league. It was great to have them back. You can see how excited they are to be top of the league. It felt like a lot more than 2,000.

“But it’s my job to know that it’s a long season. So I’m not thinking about that at the moment, it’s December,” he told a press conference.
