Former Chelsea and now Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel dismissed the report that full-back Joao Cancelo is unhappy at the club amid rumoured linking him to Arsenal.

Cancelo, who joined Bayern Munich on loan from Manchester City, has been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer.

The 28-year-old fell out of favour at Manchester City, which saw Pep Guardiola signed him off in January to Bayern Munich.

Tuchel hinted that the club would discuss Cancelo’s future at Munich at the end of this season.

Asked about Cancelo’s future at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Tuchel told reporters: “I have the impression that he feels very comfortable here. But in the end, all parties are part of the decision.

“His desire in training is unique. I have the feeling that he is really happy here. We will discuss everything else after the end of the season.”
