Chelsea have been handed their first defeat in the Premier League this season after Man City won them right at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The game started with the Citizens looking tough as both sides locked horns in the first half.

However, Man City got the goal they needed in the second half thanks to an effort from Gabriel Jesus.

The Blues coach, Thomas Tuchel, tried to make some changes to his squad as he substituted N’Golo Kante and brought in Loftus-Cheek, but it was not enough for them to equalise.

The loss against Man City is the Blues first defeat this season in all competition and their first defeat to Man City under Thomas Tuchel, having defeated the Citizens three times last season, including the Uefa Champions League.

A look at the game showed the win by Man City was well deserved as Chelsea were not impressive in the first half. They only got better after Tuchel made some changes in the second period, but it wasn’t enough.

The Blues will have to focus on their next match in the UCL vs Italian side, Juventus.
