Chelsea star shows his class with touching gesture to footballer forced to retire
Chelsea defender Recce James is not just showing his class on the pitch but also showing it off the field as reaches out to former Peterborough United player Bobby Copping, who was forced to retire from active football.
Despite all the good memories football brings, it also has it’s bad memories and
Peterborough United youngster Bobby Copping became the latest victim of a horrific injury.
The youngster had to retire from football recently after suffering from a freak accident during training last summer.
Copping occurred when he headed the ball and suffered a mini-seizure, losing sight and going numb down one side of the body.
He went on to spend four days in hospital after the incident and as the 19-year-old hope to return to play during his comeback game, time suffered a similar instance.
This has now forced him to retire from the game for good and this has sparked reactions from players across the globe.
Recce James joined the list some hours ago when he reached out to Copping on Twitter to say that everyone is with him as everything happens for a reason.
The Chelsea right-back also asks for Copping’s number to schedule a phone call.
