Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has advised his former club PSG on what to do before they can win the UCL.

Silva said all the money in the world couldn’t make the French club win the European tournament except they make some changes in their team.

Recall that PSG were knocked out of the round of 16 by Spanish side Real Madrid, who also defeated the Blues on Wednesday night.

Silva played for close to ten years in the French capital and did not win the Champions League until he joined Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea last season.

Speaking to Canal+, the 37-year-old said: “The elimination was incredible, unimaginable for us who are PSG supporters.

“Every year it’s the same thing. There are things you have to look at to try to improve them in the future.

“As things are, it’s difficult to continue to progress. Every year, we [PSG] start from scratch. You can’t do that in football.

“Even if PSG have a lot of money, that’s not what makes you win in football. That’s not how we’re going to win the Champions League.”
