Chelsea star, Geremi, has reacted to  Romelu Lukaku’s criticism of manager Thomas Tuchel and his tactics at the club.

According to Geremi, Lukaku’s criticism of Tuchel and his tactics was ‘misunderstood and misinterpreted’.

Lukaku was in the news towards the end of last year when he said he was ‘not happy’ under Tuchel at Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian striker, in his controversial interview with Sky Italia, went on to say he hopes to return to his former club Inter Milan someday.

Lukaku would later apologise for his statement, but it seems the whole drama is about to start again after the Belgian striker shared a cryptic Snapchat message on Friday evening ahead of Chelsea’s FIFA Club World Cup final tie with Palmeiras on Saturday evening.

“I think that there was a lot of misunderstanding and misinterpretation about what happened,” Geremi told the Daily Mirror.

“His attitude says that he is happy, so I think it was all misinterpreted about what he said.

“Of course, I think he can still give more, but he is trying. Lukaku is one of the best strikers in the world and every club would love to have him in the squad,” he added.
