It is no longer news that Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen is in his last five months deal at Stamford Bridge.

While the Blues are keen on keeping Christensen for another couple of years, the Denmark international is keen on leaving the West London side for new challenges elsewhere.

And he has been linked with moves to the  German side Bayer Munich.

However, in a latest report, Christensen has been told that he has the ‘prerequisites’ to be playing at a ‘top club’ like Bayern Munich.

The 25-year-old’s current contract with the Blues expires in June, and the Denmark international is expected to move to a new club by the end of the season.

Andre Schubert told Sky: “He’s an outstandingly good player and also a national player. So I think he has the prerequisites to be at an absolute Top club as Bayern Munich can claim.

“He is a central defender at a very, very high level.”

Aside from Bayer Munich, there are other European clubs who are equally interested in signing the Blues defender.
