It seems France international and midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is finally leaving Chelsea after five years at the club.

The report revealed Bakayoko has reached an agreement with French Ligue1 side Marseille this summer.

Recall that the French midfielder, who arrived at Chelsea back in 2017 from Monaco for £40m, was considered a big signing

However, he struggled to impress at Stamford Bridge as things did not go as expected for him at the West London side.

He was able to make 43 appearances for Chelsea across all competitions, scoring three goals and winning the FA Cup.

He lost his game time in the first team and he has not played for Chelsea since the 2017/18 season, instead moving out on a string of loans.

Some of the clubs he has played for on loan include AC Milan, Monaco, and Napoli.

During his second stint at AC Milan, he won the Serie A title in the last campaign.

French publication Foot Mercato reports that he is now close to making a permanent move away from West London.

The new deal with Marseille may be his ticket away from Chelsea.
