Rodriguez rules out move to Arsenal

Real Betis player, Guido Rodriguez has ruled out the reports linking him with moves to North London club, Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

The Gunners have been linked with moves to sign a new midfielder to join Thomas Partey at their midfield and during the week they were reportedly said to be working out ways to sign Rodriguez.

However, the Real Betis player has landed a transfer blow on the Gunners and this means they would have to look elsewhere for a midfielder.

Rodriquez became a center of attraction after made a quick impact in the Spanish LaLiga this season. He joined Real Betis from Mexican side, Club America, for €3 million last year.

Speaking on the development, Rodriguez told Estadio Deportivo: “I saw it because friends from Argentina asked me, but I told them that I knew the same as them.

He disclosed that he’s happy at Real Betis.

He said, “I am very happy, I arrived and there was one or two months with a strange situation for everyone with the issue of confinement, but the truth is that I am very happy in Seville, with the city, the weather, at the club. I’m very happy.”
