Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opened up on how he cut short a scouting mission because of a player’s haircut.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been putting in an impressive performance on the pitch and off the pitch ever since he replaced Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

The Norwegian have been helpful when it comes to recruitment of new players and it’s evident on the pitch of play with the likes of former Sporting Lisbon captain Bruno Fernandes performing well.

However, Solskjaer’s style of recruiting new players is different as he pays just as much attention to the player’s mentality, character and background as he does their ability.

Solskjaer had not shared details on how far he’s willing to go when it comes to analysing a player.

He revealed details on how he cut short a scouting mission on a United target because of his Mohican hairstyle.

Speaking with Sky Sports, Solskjaer stated that he once went to see a player and as the player walked out of the dressing room through the tunnel he had a Mohican (hairstyle).
