Ronaldo reacts after Man Utd defeat to Atletico Madrid
It seems Man Utd striker Cristiano Ronaldo will be staying put at the club this season, amid earlier reports that had linked him away from the club this summer.
This comes after Ronaldo reacted to Man Utd’s recent defeat to Atletico Madrid in a friendly match.
The Portugal star joined Man United in training during the week ahead of their pre-season friendly against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.
The match will be Ronaldo’s first pre-season game for Manchester United as he has been away in their previous pre-season preparations.
Amid reports linking him with moves away from Old Trafford, Ronaldo has now joined the rest of the team at Carrington.
The 37-year-old posed alongside Amad Diallo, Charlie Savage, Hannibal Mejbri and Daniel Gore for a photo on Instagram which included the caption: “Working in progress,” after Man United lost their first game under Erik ten Hag.
On Friday, Ronaldo signalled his intent to play against Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford as he wrote on Instagram: “Sunday, the king plays.”
