Former Man Utd manager begs Ronaldo to move to Turkey
Football star Cristiano Ronaldo may soon consider moving to the Turkish league.
This comes as former Real Madrid and Man Utd manager Jose Mourinho was said to have asked the Portuguese legend if he would like to move to Fenerbahce.
Mourinho is the current manager at the Turkish top club, which he signed for this season.
The Portuguese manager is determined to bolster his squad and wants players who played under him.
Recall that Mourinho and Ronaldo worked together during their stint at Spanish side Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013.
The first ever 100-point season in LaLiga history was won by the duo and a Copa del Rey thanks to Ronaldo’s 168 goals and 49 assists in 164 games under Mourinho.
Reports in Turkiye via Sportskeeda, claimed that the Portuguese tactician called the five-time Ballon d’Or winner to ask if he was happy in the Saudi Pro league and wanted to leave.
Mourinho was said to have offered Ronaldo a chance in his Fenerbahce side.
Ronaldo is in the final year of his contract with Al-Nassr and could consider moving to Turkey.
So far this season, the top striker has scored 10 goals and set up three from 15 appearances this season.
