Manchester United iconic player reveals the missing puzzle for the club this summer
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been given the opportunity to strengthen his squad this season after Manchester United finished second last season.
The Red Devils are eager to win a silverware this season and have already brought in Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund for a fee of £73m.
United have also completed the signature of Raphael Varane from Real Madrid and will will be unveiled later this week after completing quarantine measures.
The France international cost Manchester United £34m from Real Madrid and the transfer fee could rise to £43m.
Despite this two big names joining United, Dimitar Berbatov has revealed that the red devils needs to sign one more player to have edge over their rivals.
Speaking with Betfair, Berbatov stated that
the United team is in a good place but they could possibly look to strengthen in the right-back position.
Berbatov noted that Aaron Wan-Bissaka is definitely first choice but he would like to see him have a solid back-up who will challenge and push him.
Other than that, United are pretty complete as a team.
United have been linked with former Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier who is currently playing for Atletico Madrid in Spain.
Both clubs have not been able to struck a deal and it’s not clear if a deal will be sorted out before the transfer window closes.
