Manchester United player Bruno Fernandes has reacted to the club’s recent outing against Newcastle United in their pre-season game.

Following the outcome of the match against the Toffees, which ended in a 2-2 draw in the Premier League Summer Series on Sunday, Fernandes hit out at colleagues.

Recall that the Portuguese opened the scoring board form the spot, before Iliman Ndiaye converted Idrissa Gueye’s cross.

Former Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount who came in as a substitute restored the Red Devils’ hope with an effort, but Everton scored an equaliser again after Amad Diallo got in the way of a clearance and the ball rolled into the net.

Expressing disappointment in Man Utd’s performance, Fernandes said “Our performance wasn’t the best and we were a little bit lazy today.”

“We want to avoid that because with laziness you can pay at any moment.”

The Portugal international also called on the Red Devils to make moves for new players before the summer transfer window closes.
