Man Utd advised against selling Rashford, two others

With a few weeks left to the end of the January transfer window, former Manchester United midfielder, Owen Hargreaves has advised the club on some of their transfer plans.

Hargreaves urged the Red Devils against selling the likes of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo, who have been linked with moves away from the club.

According to Hargreaves, the trio are Man United’s best players. He also tagged Manchester United’s decision to accept to loan offers for Rashford as ‘madness.’

He also advised the club to keep Garnacho and Mainoo at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Rashford has decided to leave Man United for a ‘new challenge’ in another club amid limited game time under manager Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.

So far, the English striker has attracted interest from top clubs across Europe, including Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan and Barcelona.

The duo of Garnacho and Mainoo have also been linked with exit from United this January transfer window.

Speaking after Man United’s Premier League 3-1 win against Southampton on Thursday, Hargreaves in a statement via Premier League Productions said losing Rashford could be a huge blow for the Red Devils, talk about Garnacho potentially leaving.

When asked what he would do if he were in charge of Man United, Hargreaves stated that he would ensure none of them leaves.
