Why Man Utd should sell Garnacho instead of Mainoo
Former Manchester United star, Paul Scholes has issued advice to the club amid their January transfer window plans.
Scholes in a recent statement urged the Red Devils to sell Alejandro Garnacho instead of Kobbie Mainoo.
The former Utd star pointed out that Garnacho is a bit scruffy and his decision-making sometimes poor.
Scholes said Man United supporters should not worry if the club decide to sell the Argentina international.
Meanwhile, the Argentine star has been linked to Napoli this January transfer window.
The Italian Serie A side consider him a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who could join Paris Saint-Germain soon.
Man Utd’s financial records could also see them accept offers for Mainoo, who has attracted interest from Chelsea and German side Bayern Munich.
Scholes stated that he would be offended if the Red Devils decide to sell Mainoo, urging them to sell Garnacho instead.
“It would be absolutely ridiculous if the club had to sell him or Garnacho,” Scholes said via TNT Sports when asked if Man Utd should sell Mainoo.
With a few weeks left to the end of the January transfer window, we will have to wait to see if any of Garnacho or Mainoo will leave Old Trafford.
