Italian side Juventus have reached a decision regarding midfielder Paul Pogba’s future at the club.

In a recent statement, Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli confirmed that the club will terminate Pogba’s contract.

Giuntoli explained that the French midfielder is now considered a surplus to requirement in the team.

The Juventus director said Pogba was a great player but the Old Ladies have different plans now as they have invested in different players and the team is now complete.

Pogba’s second stint with the Italian club will end, despite his initial four-year doping ban being reduced by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, CAS, to just 18 months.

It means the former Man Utd star can resume training in January and will be playing competitive football again in March.

But he would have to continue his career away from Juventus, despite his current deal set to expire in June 2026.

Considering his age, Pogba might not get offers from top clubs in Europe and may likely move to the French Ligue 1 where he could get a deal to play football once again.

Recall that Pogba had vowed to give his best to his team on his return.
