Player who helped Man Utd defeat Brentford unveiled
Manchester United and Brentford returned to action this weekend after the international break.
Unlike Arsenal who suffered defeat to Bournemouth, Manchester United who have performed woefully so far, resume football with a win against Brentford.
In a post-match statement, Brentford manager, Thomas Frank, identified midfielder Christian Eriksen as the player who helped the Red Devils defeat his team.
According to Frank, Eriksen reached a better level and ‘ran the show’ against Brentford team at Old Trafford.
Recall that Eriksen impressed for the Red Devils as they came from a goal down to beat Brentford 2-1 in the Premier League on Saturday.
The duo of Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund scored the goals for Erik ten Hag’s side to win all three points against Frank’s side.
Speaking after the game, Frank told BBC Sport that there were a lot of things that went right for his in the first half.
He stated that it was a game of two halves while crediting Man United for their performance.
Frank singled out some of the Red Devils players, stressing that they have reached a better level.
He added that Eriksen was running the show for the Red Devils.
