Ex Manchester United manager reveals the player that can replace in-form Bruno Fernandes
Former Manchester United assistant Rene Meulensteen has revealed the two players that can take the place of in-form Bruno Fernandes in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.
Bruno Fernandes has become Manchester United most important player ever since he joined the club from Sporting Lisbon and has continued the good form this season.
The Portuguese have been scoring important goals as well as laying off for his teammates who will be glad to have a player of his calibre in their team.
Fernandes was on the score sheet when United played Leicester City on boxing day and Meulensteen while speaking with Stadium Astro noted that United can only have one New Year’s wish.
He noted that Fernandes energy is unbelievable before reminiscing on his goal against Leicester City.
Meulensteen noted that the goal is fantastic as the timing of the run and ball from Edinson Cavani is also fantastic.
He also highlighted the importance of Fernandes as he noted that as soon as the Portuguese get on the ball the likes of Marcus Rashford are on their way.
On the player that can replace Fernandes, he named Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek as the only two players but warned neither will have the same impact as the Portuguese.
