Legendary Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has insisted that veteran striker Edinson Cavani is not among the best in the club attacking line-up.

Cavanni joined Manchester United during the summer transfer window after he failed to nail a first team spot at Paris Saint-Germain but he has been putting in an impressive performance at Old Trafford.

The forward once again showed how important he is as he came off the bench to impress for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side in their 2-2 draw with Leicester City.

Paul Scholes during his Post-match reports on BT Sport, accused United manager of leaving his best players on the bench.

However, when the legendary midfielder was asked to clarify his statement, he revealed he did not necessarily mean Cavani.

According to Paul Scholes, Cavanni remains a top centre-forward but he’s coming to the end of his career and he was hoping Mason Greenwood will be the player to come in.

Scholes noted that Greenwood might not have scored during his last appearance but with the England international on the pitch alongside Martial and Rashford, with Fernandes in behind, he does not think anyone can handle them.
