Reports: Liverpool identifies four players that will leave the club before transfer deadline
Premier League side, Liverpool are reportedly eager to offload four players before the summer transfer window closes.
Liverpool have been silent in this current summer transfer window as their only addition to the team is Ibrahima Konate.
Konate joined the reds from RB Leipzig and featured during the pre-season for Jurgen Klopp.
However, all eyes has been on Liverpool’s midfield as the reds are yet to replace Georginio Wijnaldum who left on a free transfer to sign for Paris Saint-Germain.
With a move for another midfielder not looking feasible, a new report from The Athletic has claimed that Klopp has given the list of four players that will leave before next week.
Number one on the list is Belgium international Divock Origi.
Liverpool are reportedly weighing up their options should they receive any offers for the Belgian, who has been linked with Crystal Palace.
Nat Phillips, Loris Karius and Sheyi Ojo are also tagged as players who could be packing their bags before next Tuesday, with the trio seemingly not part of Klopp’s plans.
Liverpool some hours ago announced the departure of Xherdan Shaqiri who completed his long-awaited £9.5million move to Lyon.
