Liverpool’s summer signing makes shares update about his injury
Liverpool’s summer signing Diogo Jota has shared an update about his knee injury as he noted that he will not rush his return but will be eager to be back on the pitch.
Diogo Jota has been in a terrific form ever since he agreed to join Liverpool from Wolves in the summer transfer window.
The Portuguese has justified his £40m move Wolves in the summer by scoring nine gaoals in 17 outings for the Reds before he got was injured in the game with Midtjylland in early December.
Speaking in Liverpool’s official match day programme Jota shared more details about his knee injury as noted that they are always complicated so things cannot rush.
However, he noted that he’s doing well and will be back on the field as soon as possible.
Jota who has already become a fans favourite stated that when he’s fit as a fiddle, he will give his best in each training session so as to get a chance of playing.
With Liverpool known for housing talented players, Jota stated in Portugal they used to say the hardest thing is not to arrive but to stay there so that of course is his target.
He noted that with a move to Liverpool already achieved, he want to be a big influence in the club and that’s what he’ll try to do every day.
Liverpool have continue their good start to the season in Jota’s absence as they are still on top of the league table ahead of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
