Liverpool star reportedly emerges as top candidate for Serie A giant

Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson has reportedly become a target for Serie A side Juventus this summer transfer window.

Henderson has been an important player in the Liverpool set up for the past few seasons but he played a little part last season due to injury.

The England international spent majority of the time on the bench and Juventus are reportedly willing to give him a way out of Anfield.

Juventus are planning on adding new players to their midfield and have identified Henderson as a perfect fit, according to Kaltim Tribune.

Henderson’s current contract with Liverpool is set to end in 2023 and he has not been offered a new deal at Anfield.

Juventus are planning to take advantage of this situation to lure Henderson who was part of the England squad that reached Euro 2020 final.

Multiple reports have also claimed that Liverpool might let go of Henderson as they plan on signing young midfielders, including AC Milan star Frank Kessie.
